The first picture is of how it slices through paper like scissors. Just about a half inch shorter than it should be and that's from 60 years of sharpening. Its pretty much like a razor but not perfect. Carbon steel for me is better than stainless.
A quality knife. A great addition for your knife drawer. Wood handle is in great shape and so the blade. Old and a little worn, but very sharp.
